Ediz Hazir has presented his research at international conferences
Ediz Hazir, a doctoral student at KRVS, has spoken at two international conferences in recent months, where he presented the results of his research.
At the end of March, he spoke at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in Sofia at a conference titled Diplomacy, Intelligence, and Influence in the Balkans and Beyond, 17th–19th Centuries, where he presented a paper titled The Bulgarian Uniate Movement as the Holy See’s Strategy: Religious Diplomacy and the Reorientation of Catholic Policy in the Balkans (1860–1861).
He then attended the NOSTER & GKM Spring Conference in Münster in mid-April, organized by the Netherlands School for Advanced Studies in Theology and Religion. There, he gave a lecture on the topic Women on a Mission: The Oblates of the Assumption and the Transformation of Catholic Outreach in the Ottoman Balkans.
Congratulations on these successful presentations!
