IMS FSV UK offers a Ph.D. position in the Horizon Europe SOCIAL project "Sociology of Authoritarian Law: Insights from Central Asia"
The Institute of International Studies at Charles University's Faculty of Social Sciences is opening a Ph.D. student/project researcher position (1.0) for a 36-month scholarship within the international Horizon Europe SOCIAL project "Sociology of Authoritarian Law: Insights from Central Asia."
The project examines how executive regulations and normative acts – often outside parliamentary oversight – are used in authoritarian regimes to regulate public life. The research will focus on legal fragmentation, mechanisms of governance, and informal hierarchies within the legal systems of Central Asia.
