Invitation to a lecture with Radek Pech, former Czech Ambassador to Ukraine
We cordially invite you to a lecture by Radek Pech, former Czech Ambassador to Ukraine and current Director of the European Section, which will take place on Wednesday, March 4, at 3:30 p.m. in room C321 at the Jinonice Campus.
Radek Pech has been working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1992. In the 1990s, he first worked in the Analysis and Planning Department, then became director of the Third Territorial Department. During his career to date, he has served as ambassador to several European countries: from 1997, he headed the Czech Republic's representations in Finland and Estonia, then served as ambassador to Romania and Moldova (2002-2006), Lithuania (2010-2014), Denmark (2017-2023), and Ukraine (2023-2025). He has held several director positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters: he successively headed the EU Coordination and Institutions Department, the EU General Affairs Department, the Minister's Office, and finally the Northern and Eastern Europe Department. In 2017, he became Deputy Minister for European Affairs.
