Jinonický areál bude v září hostit výroční konferenci UACES

The 56th UACES Annual Conference 2026 will take place from September 7 to 9, 2026 and will bring together an international community of academics, researchers, and practitioners working in the field of European studies.

The event will provide a platform for presenting new research findings, interdisciplinary discussion, and collaboration, and is designed to foster meaningful academic exchange. This year’s conference will address key questions regarding how Europe is being built, challenged, and reshaped, and will focus on issues of politics, governance, and identity across the continent and beyond. Specifically, the program centers on three plenary sessions dedicated to the major trends shaping Europe today, and sixteen thematic blocks covering topics such as European security, trade, migration, digital policy, the green agenda, and critical approaches to European studies.

In addition, for doctoral students and early-career researchers, the Graduate Forum Doctoral Training Academy will take place on Sunday, September 6 at the Hollar Building, offering not only workshops but also opportunities for networking and professional development.
