A new article by Marina Perglová, “Escape of Young Russians to Kazakhstan: Political Views and Relations with the Host Society and State”
Ph.D. candidate Marina Perglová has published an article titled Escape of Young Russians to Kazakhstan: Political Views and Relations with the Host Society and State in the academic journal Laboratorium: Russian Review of Social Research.
Her article presents a narrative analysis of interviews with young Russians who left for Kazakhstan following the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. The study focuses on their motivations for leaving Russia, their political views, and their reflections on events in their home country, and examines how these factors influence their adaptation strategies and daily reality as migrants in Kazakhstan.
