PhDr. Barbora Menclová, Ph.D. has published a chapter entitled Similar but Different: Czechoslovakia in Angola and Mozambique in her new book Communist Actors in African Decolonial Transitions. It focuses on the foreign policy strategies that Czechoslovakia pursued towards two former Portuguese colonies – Angola and Mozambique – during their transition to independence and during the Cold War.
