The Postwar and Violence Research Centre at the University of St Andrews

Professor Ota Konrád, Associated Professor Ondřej Žíla, and doctoral student Tomáš Košek from the Postwar and Violence Research Centre took part in a workshop and an international conference at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. Their participation was supported by the Joint Seed Project, which promotes collaboration between Charles University and the University of St Andrews.

The workshop focused on the possibilities and challenges of researching and writing an integrated European history of political violence. It was followed by an international conference on the history of terrorism, which provided a forum for presenting current research and discussing recent developments in the field.
