President Petr Pavel presented appointment decrees to new professors, including Rudolf Kučera.

On Tuesday, December 16, President Petr Pavel presented appointment decrees to a total of 69 professors based on the recommendations of the scientific and artistic councils of universities. Two new professors received appointment decrees for the Faculty of Social Sciences, including Prof. Rudolf Kučera from IMS, who received his in the field of Modern History.

The professor focuses on the history of war, labor, violence, and the socio-cultural history of Central Europe in the 19th and 20th centuries and has extensive international experience. Among other things, he is also the director of the Masaryk Institute and Archives of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
