Successful defenses of the dissertations by Pavla Kačmárová and Martin Mejstřík
On Tuesday, June 23, Pavla Kačmárová, successfully defended her dissertation, Environmental Policy in West Germany (1969–1974), in the Modern History programme. In her research, she examined the emergence and development of environmental policy in the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s, with a special focus on the period of Chancellor Willy Brandt’s administration.
Dr. Martin Mejstřík also successfully defended his dissertation, Political Science, Sartori’s Methodology, and Research on Populism, in recent days, thereby completing his studies in the doctoral programme of Area Studies.
