Maria-Diana Bucuroiu is a doctoral researcher in Modern History at the Institute of International Studies at Charles University, and a member of the Research Center for Memory Studies. Her research explores the intersection of propaganda, gender, and memory in twentieth-century Europe, with a particular focus on the World War II Romanian female aviators (White Squadron).
