Preparatory Courses

In the academic year 2024/2025, the Institute of International Studies offers courses in the field of Area Studies (TS) and Czech-German Studies (CNS) as a part of lifelong learning courses.

Currently, applications are open for courses in the academic year 2024/2025.

To apply, you must be logged into the SIS (Student Information System) - this is the only way the system will recognise you, detect that you have applied for a course and allow you to apply for a preparatory course.

The login process is as follows:

1) You must have submitted (and paid for) an application for the Area Studies or Czech-German Studies programme.

2) Log in to SIS and go to the "Admissions" section.

3) Click on "Create a new application".

4) Select a course, fill in the details and submit your application.

Please note that the entire preparatory course is conducted in the Czech language.

Course will be taught online. Course is free.
