Preparatory Courses

In the academic year 2025/2026, the Institute of International Studies offers courses in the field of Area Studies (TS) and Czech-German Studies (CNS) as part of lifelong learning courses. 

Please note that the entire preparatory courses are conducted in the Czech language.

To apply, you must be logged into the SIS (Student Information System) - this is the only way the system will recognise you, detect that you have applied for a course and allow you to apply for a preparatory course.

The login process is as follows:

1) You must have submitted (and paid for) an application for the Area Studies or Czech-German Studies programme.

2) Log in to SIS and go to the "Admissions" section.

3) Click on "Create a new application".

4) Select a course, fill in the details and submit your application.

Course will be taught online. Course is free.
