Czech-German Studies Preparatory Course

COURSE: INTERNATIONAL AREA STUDIES

Course: International Area Studies - Specialization in Czech-German Studies

Objective of the course: The course is intended to revise and practice the knowledge required for the admission procedures for various study fields of the International Area Studies programme and it may also be beneficial to prepare for the admission procedure for other study programmes at faculties of humanities and social sciences. The main focus will be on German and Czech-German history in the 19th and 20th centuries and German and Czech-German cultural studies after 1990.

Each lecture will be introduced by a short, jointly corrected test which the participants will be able to keep. It will be accompanied by a brief bibliography to the topic.
