Klára Smitková is a PhD student at IMS FSV UK in the Area Studies study programme. Her research focuses on the perception of the communist regime and Nicolae Ceaușescu in today's society, nostalgia and reshaping memories. She is a co-founding member of the "Centre for Digital Humanities Integration" at IMS.
