New book by Kateřina Králové "Homecoming: Holocaust Survivors and Greece, 1941-1946"

Kateřina Králová from the Department of Russian and East European Studies at the Charles University in Prague has published a new book entitled Homecoming. Holocaust Survivors and Greece, 1941-1946 (Berghahn Books, 2025).

The book focuses on the experiences of Greek Jews who survived the Holocaust and returned to their homeland after the war - but often faced isolation, uncertainty and rejection. The book is based on extensive archival research and dozens of interviews with survivors around the world.
