Green Deal
The project aims to revise existing study programmes to incorporate topics related to green transformation. Additionally, it seeks to establish new study programmes and lifelong learning courses that will equip graduates with knowledge in green education, thereby qualifying them as a workforce in dynamically developing fields related to ecological transformation.
Supported activities of the project include:
- The development of newly accredited study programmes (bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral programmes), including professionally oriented study programmes;
- The creation of new/innovative courses within existing study programmes;
- The development of new lifelong learning courses aimed at professional practice, including classes focused on skill extension (upskilling) and requalification (reskilling);
- The formulation of sustainability and green transformation strategies at universities, and the implementation of measures to support sustainability;
- Establishing strategic partnerships within scientific research collaboration, cooperation with the applied sector, the public sector, educational institutions, research organisations, etc.
Research team
The project is university-wide and involves eight faculties (Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Hussite Theological Faculty, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Sciencš) and one part of the rectorate (UK Point).
Donor
The project is funded by the European Union, the National Recovery Plan, and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.

Duration
The project runs from 2024 to 2025.
