Call for Participants "Decolonial Approaches and Fieldwork: Theory and Practice"

We invite MA and PhD students in the social sciences, humanities, and related fields to apply for the workshop “Decolonial Approaches and Fieldwork: Theory and Practice”, which will take place in two parts in October and November 2025 at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague.

The workshop will offer a critical reflection on decolonial approaches to fieldwork, with particular focus on Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. The working language is English, and participation in both parts is required.

Part I: October 16–17, 2025
Part II: November 21–22, 2025
