Conference "On Borders and Boundaries"

We invite you to the International Doctoral Conference "On Borders and Boundaries: German-Czech Conference for Young Researchers", organized by the IMS in cooperation with the Department of East and Southeast European History of LMU (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich).

The conference will take place on 28 and 29 April 2022 at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich.

The working language of the conference is English.

To apply for the conference, please send abstracts of your proposed presentation (max. 400 words) to the organizing team by January 31st. Notifications of acceptance will be provided by February 7th. Please then prepare your presentation including a paper (max. 4.000 words) to be handed in by April 1st to give the commentators enough time to prepare their remarks. All expenses for travel, board and lodging will be covered for the partici-pants presenting a paper (conditional to the approval of funding).

The conference will take place according to the extant rules regarding the Covid-19 pandemic. Should an in-person event not be possible, the conference will take place online.
