Karin Hofmeisterová (KRVS) received Josef Hlávka Award
Congratulations to Karin Hofmeisterová on receiving the Josef Hlávka Award for Best Students and Alumni for 2020!
Karin is a PhD student at the Department of Russian and Eastern European Studies at the FSV UK Institute of International Studies. She is a specialist in the post-Yugoslav region and her research focuses particularly on the role of churches and forms of religion in the post-secular public space. For example, she gathered experience at the prestigious UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies in London, or at the Centre for South-East European Studies - the University of Graz in Austria. She publishes expert studies in renowned peer-reviewed journals and participates in a wide range of Czech and international research projects.
