CONTEMPORARY HISTORY

INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS ON THE CONTEMPORARY HISTORY PROGRAMME

The Contemporary History Programme offers a scientifically qualified education in the field of Czech and general modern and contemporary history and anchored in a broader regional context. In the first year, the studies are focused on general problems and the basics of methodology, the second year focuses on the modern history of the mentioned regions and the main part of the third year consists of preparing the Bachelor´s thesis.

FINAL STATE EXAMINATION

The Final State Examination consists of an oral defence of the Bachelor's thesis, an oral exam focusing on contemporary Czech history and a specialized oral examination focusing on the modern history of one of the selected regions.
