History and Area Studies
History and Area Studies
History and Area Studies (HAS) is an interdisciplinary three-year English-language bachelor's degree programme that focuses on the modern history, culture, and politics of Central Europe with respect to the Czech Republic. It combines education in history and area studies with active training in the Czech language. Students will achieve at least a B2 (Upper Intermediate) level in Czech by the end of their studies.
This study programme is provided by the Institute of International Studies in cooperation with the Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies of Charles University.
