Anna Lukešová successfully defended her dissertation in the International Territorial Studies program

On Friday, November 7, Anna Lukešová successfully defended her dissertation "Multi-Level Governance of Civic Integration Policies: the Case of Czechia," which was written under the supervision of Dr. Paul Bauer in the International Territorial Studies program. In her study, Anna examined the management of integration policies and how this management has changed with the introduction of the civic integration approach. By applying the concept of multi-level governance, the thesis provides a thorough analysis of integration actors operating at both the vertical (i.e., local, national, supranational) and horizontal (i.e., civil society) levels and their involvement in the management of immigrant integration in the country.
