The Institute of International Studies is part of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague.

Within the framework of the FSV research plan and in a number of other Czech and European grants, the Institute's members are developing the theory, methodology and the empirical research in many areas.
IMS has been working with high schools for a long time in preparing students for studying at university. IMS offers to arrange lectures, seminars or workshops conducted by IMS staff directly at the high schools.
