Professor Kateřina Králová from the Department of Russian and East European Studies has been elected a member of the Learned Society of the Czech Republic.
Professor Kateřina Králová's main research interests are the modern history of Greece and other countries of Southeast Europe in relation to anti-Semitism, the Holocaust, national issues and forced migration.
The Learned Society of the Czech Republic is a prestigious scientific institution that brings together eminent Czech scientists from various disciplines and supports the development of science in the Czech Republic. Its activities include organising scientific conferences, publishing and awarding prizes to outstanding scientists.
