The Research Centre for Small (Nation-) States in/outside Empires and Unions would like to invite you to a talk by Mgr. Ákos Holányi (Institute of Political Science, HUN-REN Centre for Social Sciences, Budapest) entitled "The changing perception of great powers in Central Europe".

How are great powers talked about in Central European countries? How has their domestic perception changed over time? Ákos Holányi uses quantitative methods based on artificial intelligence to explore how the importance of great powers, sentiment and emotions towards them have changed in legislative speeches and in the media.

The lecture will take place on October 7, 2024 from 11:15 to 12:30. The event will take place in a hybrid format, in room C423 and online via Zoom. The link can be found here: https://cesnet.zoom.us/j/95908543632
