Next Wednesday, 13 October, the Supply Chain Resilience Centre (SCRC) at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, will welcome its distinguished guest, Professor Larry Jay Diamond. Professor Diamond is an American political scientist at Stanford University and is regarded as one of the world’s leading experts on democracy and democratisation. His research focuses on global trends affecting democracy, the decline of democracy, and policies aimed at defending and promoting democracy worldwide.

The Small(nation-) States Research Center, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Prague, is organizing a roundtable discussion aimed at exploring aspects of the cultural ties between Czech and Albanian societies. The discussion will take place on Thursday, April 9, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Hollar building (room H212) and will be conducted in two languages—Czech and Albanian.
