Inter-Faculty Agreements

Inter-Faculty Agreements

FSV UK also offers its students foreign exchange on the basis of Inter-Faculty Agreements, i.e. contracts directly concluded between FSV UK and a foreign university. Inter-faculty agreements are managed by FSV UK's International Office.

Students admitted under an Inter-Faculty Agreement do not pay tuition fees, any other costs must be borne by themselves unless otherwise stated.

Some study stays under Inter-Faculty Agreements are fellowships, i.e. participation in an exchange program is accompanied by a scholarship provided by a partner university. Information on whether the stay is a fellowship or not can be found in the list of current offers of stays at relevant foreign universities. If the stays are not fellowships, you can use the possibility of financial support, either from the university (mobility fund) or from an offer from a foundation, grant agency or other institution providing financial support for student mobility.

Any FSV student (including non-EU citizens) who is enrolled in an accredited bachelor's or master's degree program and will be duly enrolled for study at Charles University throughout the period of study abroad can participate in the inter-faculty agreements. Participation in the selection procedure is conditional on an actual study in at least the second semester of a bachelor’s degree or at least the first year of a master’s degree at the time of application and a very good knowledge of the English language.

The Inter-Faculty Agreement selection procedure is under the responsibility of FSV UK's International Office and is generally put out twice a year (in spring and autumn).

Up-to-date information and a list of Inter-Faculty Agreements can be found on the faculty website.
