Looking back at Balkan Express 2021

The 6th International Conference of Balkan Studies "Balkan Express" took place on 12-13 November 2021. This year the conference focused on the study of the Balkans through the concepts and ideas of neighbourhood and neighbourhood relations - the subtitle of the conference: Neighbors and Neighborhood in the Balkans.

The conference was held in English at the Faculty of Humanities in Prague and it was possible to participate not only physically but also virtually.

The conference was organized by František Šístek, M.A., Ph.D. He was assisted by students of the Department of Russian and East European Studies, Anna Korytářová, Sanina Čajić and Klára Smitková.
