New Research Centre for Diplomacy and Foreign Policy
New Research Centre for Diplomacy and Foreign Policy
The Diplomacy and Foreign Policy Research Centre connects IMS researchers with the wider academic community, bringing an interdisciplinary perspective including political science, history and sociology.
The Centre takes a comprehensive view of foreign policy as a space where soft and hard instruments of power meet and complement each other, using sectoral analysis of foreign policy and diplomacy. Its researchers pursue major diplomatic agendas such as economics, security, culture, as well as new diplomatic themes such as cyberdiplomacy, environmental or climate diplomacy.
We look forward to the new insights that this research centre will bring.
