As part of the "Modern World History II" course taught by doc. Smetana and Prof. Konrád, a lecture by Prof. Neil Diamant, Visiting Professor at IMS, will take place on Friday, 25 April. The lecture will focus on contemporary Chinese history (from the 1970s to the present) and will be held from 9:30 to 12:20 in room C117.

From April 8 to 10, the international conference "Echoes of Conflict: Health Consequences of War and Violence Across Generations" took place in the historic Carolinum building of Charles University in Prague. The event was co-organized by the War and Society Research Alliance, a joint initiative of our Institute, the EHESS in Paris, and the Center for Urban History in Lviv.
