Workshop: Towards a Central European Doctoral School in Modern History

On Monday, March 21, our Institute of International Studies in cooperation with the University of Vienna (Philipp Ther and Claudia Kraft) and the University of Warsaw (Jerzy Kochanowski) hosted a doctoral workshop within the CENTRAL program entitled "Towards a Central European Doctoral School in Modern History".

Vienna and Warsaw postgraduate students and students of our doctoral program "Modern History" presented and discussed their dissertation projects dealing with societal and political transformations from the 19th century till now. At the end of the workshop, we agreed on further cooperation in postgraduate studies between our universities.

We would like to thank all Ph.D. students and other colleagues from Vienna and Warsaw for a pleasant and fruitful meeting during these challenging times!
