Balkan, Eurasian and East-Central European Studies (BECES) is a two-year master's degree programme that is ideal for students who want to understand the “East”, understood as a territory composed of Central Europe, the Balkan Peninsula, and the Post-Soviet area, including the Caucasus and Central Asia:
- understand the interplay between politics, society, culture and economy in the "East"
- combine courses in order to adapt the curriculum to your specific needs and interests
- master several foreign languages
- study with talented students from all over the world
