History and Area Studies (HAS) is an interdisciplinary three-year Bachelor's Degree that focuses on modern history, culture and politics with respect to the Czech Republic in Central European and global context. It combines education in history and area studies with active training in the Czech language. The programme focuses on the unique and challenging political and social environment of the region.
As a student of HAS, you will:
- learn about approaches and methods from different disciplines including social and political studies and international relations;
- study issues that are related to Central Europe;
- learn the Czech Language;
- enhance your employability by developing your professional and academic skills.
