Work package leader for the Horizon 2020 project Using science for/in diplomacy for addressing global challenges (S4D4C), grant 770342, Jan 2018 – Dec 2020.
Geografická oblast: EU, Nordic countries, Czech Republic. Zaměření: Knowledge governance and science policies in the EU and Member States both internally as a form of European integration and externally though science diplomacy as tool in foreign policy, more specifically, it concentrates in two areas: the public management and policy tools for research and higher education and their effects within complex systems on the micro- and meso-level behaviours and strategies of researchers and institutions, and secondly, the concept of science diplomacy as a means to address questions of foreign policy, power, and global challenges - particularly food security.
